Kobe STILL Gets No Love In Philly

Written by John Mbugua
Sixers 108, Lakers 92

Kobe went back to his hometown in Philly, visited Lower Merion High School, talked to his old teachers and friends, and still got booed in the Wachovia Center.

The fans feel Kobe left Philly for Hollywood, although he did not have any control over what team drafted him...

"A lot of people don't know that — when I come back here, I go to my old stomping grounds," Bryant said. "If they knew that, they might feel better about me."

It's okay Kobe, you don't gotta cry.

It was the end of a long night for Bryant. His current team lost to his boyhood team, 108-92, and Bryant, though he scored 30 points, had only nine in the second half.
